Explaining the concept of quantized learning

Quantized learning allows students to visualize and manage bitesized chunks of information and skills surrounding a concept or task.

A good example of how to break tasks into quantized tutorials can be found at Quantunet.com

These tutorials are designed to be interchangeable modules that can be combined in a variety of ways to create practically endless number of projects and worksheets. The site was primarily created for teachers so that can mash up tutorials and build what they need into custom projects but proved very popular with users who want no hassle, to the point instructions in a video format.

The next challenge is to make it easyer for users to find tutorials and combine them in a consistent manner so that the quanta link together. One method I am currently developing is the use of visual video flow charts and concepts maps which give the user real time copntrol over the sequence of video tutorials they view.
